HOW LID WORKS
The Leadership Identity Dimensions Assessment is designed to be simple in experience and thoughtful in outcome.
It unfolds in a small number of deliberate steps, each intended to support clarity rather than speed.
STEP 1 - REFLECT
You are invited to reflect on your lived experience of leadership.
The assessment begins by helping you notice:
How leadership has shown up for you under real responsibility
What feels most characteristic of your current leadership expression
Where tension, clarity, or questions are already present
This is not a test of knowledge or aspiration.
It is an invitation to awareness.
STEP 2 - REspond
You respond to a series of carefully designed prompts.
These prompts are:
Situational and reflective
Focused on orientation, expression, tension, formation, and sensed invitation
Without right or wrong answers
Responding honestly - rather than aspirationally - supports the integrity of what follows.
STEP 3 - RECEIVE
At the conclusion of the assessment, you receive descriptive language focused on your current leadership expression.
Reflection across past experience and sensed future direction informs the assessment, while the results you receive in this first release are intentionally centered on the present.
This includes:
How leadership tends to be sourced and expressed
Where clarity and tension currently coexist
How experience appears to have shaped your leadership identity
Where you may already sense emerging attention or invitation
What you receive is a snapshot, not a conclusion.
STEP 4 - INTEGRATE
Integration happens over time.
You are encouraged to:
Read your results slowly
Notice what resonates and what feels unfinished
Sit with the language rather than act on it immediately
Insight deepens through reflection, not urgency.
Interpretation belongs to you.
A NOTE ON PACE
This assessment is intentionally unhurried.
There is no advantage to rushing, optimizing, or comparing results.
Leadership identity unfolds through attention over time.
BEGIN WHEN READY
If you are willing to reflect honestly on lived experience and current expression, you are ready to begin.
